Pink Slips

A pink slip, also known as an eSafety report, certifies that your vehicle is safe to be driven on the road. If your light vehicle is more than 5 years old, it's recommended that you book it in for a safety inspection regularly.

Blue Slips

A blue slip, also known as an Authorised Unregistered Vehicle Inspection report, certifies that an unregistered vehicle is roadworthy. It's a state requirement that all unregistered light vehicles are issued with a blue slip before they can be registered.

At Jim Wall Automotive, our expert mechanics provide blue slip inspections at a competitive price, delivered with friendly customer service.

A blue slip is required if your vehicle has:

  • Expired more than 3 months ago
  • Been brought in from interstate
  • No number plates
  • Been written-off
  • Defect notices that need approval
  • Been altered or modified significantly

Green Slips

A Green Slip is a personal injury insurance policy that must be purchased before registering your vehicle in NSW. It covers any personal injuries sustained in the event of a motor vehicle accident anywhere in Australia.

At Jim Wall Automotive, in Mittagong, we provide green slips for either a 6-month or 12-month policy.

In the event of an accident, a Green Slip covers:

  • You & your passengers
  • Any drivers & passengers injured by your vehicle
  • Any pedestrians & cyclists

Gas Slips

At our authorised inspection workshop in Mittagong, Jim Wall Automotive provides gas certification. Under NSW state regulations, if your vehicle has been converted to liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) or compressed natural gas (CNG), you are required to have an annual inspection when you renew your registration.
